Optional Poem – You can act it out!

Tell all the Truth
By Emily Dickinson

Tell all the Truth but tell it slant,
Success in Circuit lies,
Too bright for our infirm Delight
The truth's superb surprise;

As Lightning to the children eased
With explanation kind,
The Truth must dazzle gradually
Or every man be blind.

A Wonderful Way to Remember...

Picture
PMK Postures can be used to choreograph almost any speech, poem, quote or piece of prose. Your students memorize more quickly as they move to the message.

In the PMK DVD and Curriculum, Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech is choreographed for you as a PowerMoves Kids Sequence.

Your students can present a stirring tribute, move to the message and internalize the precepts you're teaching them in a new way using PowerMoves Kids postures.

Sarah enjoys "rising and setting" during The Sun posture while learning about the Core Value of Trustworthiness.

She likes this quote about being Trustworthy from Alexander Hamilton, in English and in Spanish:

"A promise must never be broken."

"Una promesa nunca debe romperse."

- Alexander Hamilton, American Statesman, first Secretary of the Treasury (1757-1804).
His face is on the U.S. ten dollar bill.

Good job, Sarah! Muy bien!
